Today is Mom’s special day.  I made her breakfast in bed (Daddy didn’t get any LOL!!!!) and got her a gift card at a local salon to have a manicure, pedicure, and the works.  Daddy is taking all of us out to Outback for dinner.  Remember me telling you that she’s allergic to wheat and they have a gluten free menu?  My brothers and sister put together all their money and got Mom a gift card to Belks so between all of us kids, Mom’s going to look great!!!  That’s what Mothers Day is for, to let Mom know it was worth it going through all the stretch marks, 9 months of feeling like a beached whale and then the hours and hours of labor pains.  Now that I think of it that way, I should have gotten her more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
