Prom night is tomorrow night and I can’t wait.  I saved for 6 months to buy my dress.  I’m kinda strawberry blond with fair skin so I have to pick out a dress that won’t make me look too white.  Mom paid for me to get one of those spray on tans because she doesn’t trust tanning beds.  I was afraid it would make me look orange but it doesn’t.  They couldn’t put very much on me or it would have turned kinda orange they told me since I’m so fair skinned. 

 Anyway, Mom said I look stunning in my dress.  Daddy got that ‘Holy cow, she’s not a little girl anymore’ look on his face when I modeled it for him.  It’s dark blue with spaghetti straps that are dark blue too and pale blue lace over the bottom part of the dress which let’s the dark blue show through.  There’s a long dark blue silk bow in the back that goes all the way to the floor since the dress is floor length.  The bottom is full so I can dance my little heart out and not be confined by one of those skinny bottom type dresses. 

I gladly signed the ’prom promise’ but now they changed the name of it and call it ‘Think’ and made sure my boyfriend Billy did too.  I refuse to be in a car with someone drinking and driving.  Anyway back to what I’m wearing.  My shoes are dark blue open toed low heel shoes that are just too cute.  I’m having my hair done up with little baby blue and dark blue tiny flowers in it and my nails will be a pale pink to show off my new tan (even if it is sprayed on).  I’ll be sure and fill you in on how it went later.  See ya!
