Celena Mabry

Miss Pearl is one of the ladies I deliver the meals on wheels to.  She’s 92 she told me but I thought she was much younger than that.  She gets around really good and takes care of herself too.  She makes the most beautiful hand made quilts you have ever seen.  Every time I deliver a meal or just stop by to see her, she’s working on a quilt.  I stopped by yesterday to show her my new car and drop off her meal.  This wonderful woman gave me a graduation gift.  It was a totally hand made quilt she had been working on ever since I started delivering her meals and visiting her.  I had commented on how beautiful the quilt she was working on was and I’ll be darned, she gave it to me.  She is a Pearl!!  I will cherish this the rest of my life.  Isn’t it amazing?
