Hey, a few weeks ago I saw on the news that Hillary Clinton had just done a campaign rally at Washington-Lee High School, in Arlington, VA.  Good old W-L High School is where my mother went to High School way back in the 70’s, so it was way cool to hear that Hillary had spoken there during the Potomac Preliminaries.

Washington-Lee played a key role in the education of a lot of famous people such as Warren Beatty, his sister who happens to be Shirley McLean and #@$@#$#$ (I can’t for the life of me remember her name, but when I do I will punch the info in this spot) to name a few.  Mom loved that school. I have gone back to my old stomping grounds several times through-out the years and the school always looks different,  it seems that it’s constantly under construction always getting bigger and better as it ages through the years.  I think it was Sandra Bullock?  It sure was!!!  I was just having a blond moment there.

You know, once Valentines Day gets here, spring should come too.  Someone needs to make that a law or something.  I hate winter.  I don’t like it cold, I don’t like snow, I don’t like ice and I hate wearing a toboggan on my head because my ears are cold.  It messes up my hair.  Now those new ear muffs they have that go behind your head are kinda cute but have you seen those EarPops?  I love those things.  They don’t mess up your hair at all. 

Don’t you just love Valentines Day?  I do, especially when I have someone special in my life that spoils me rotten.  I got a dozen roses, a box of chocolate (but don’t tell him I don’t care for chocolate) and a gold necklace with a heart pendant on it.  I lucked out.  I’m sorry for all of you that don’t have anyone special right now.  Just quit looking and when you least expect it……………there he or she will be.  Trust me!!  It only took me a few years to get that one figured out.  Wisdom comes with age Mom says.
