Daddy wanted to help me lose some weight so he bought me a bicycle.  He said I could go riding and save gas to my girlfriends house and burn up some extra calories at the same time.  I have to admit, he did get me a pretty bike and it’s only about a mile to my best friends house.  It’s worth a shot to try.  Then if that doesn’t work, I’ll look at other ways to lose some weight.

I told you about my best friend moving, well I didn’t realize just how much was was involved in a move like that. Especially when you need to know about interstate moving companies.  My girlfriend was telling me that her Daddy contacted them about moving out of state, moving their other car, and they even helped them find another place to live.  They offer an apartment hunter, real estate help, even mortgage help.  Pretty cool.  I was impressed but I still wish she wasn’t moving.

I told you that my Daddy works for a chemical plant, remember?  Well they have to use explosion proof lights through out the plant because of the threat of an explosion.  The cool part of it is they are Magnalight lights.  One Christmas Daddy got all of us (including Mom) some Magnalight flash lights to put in our cars.  Mine was in my stocking of all places.  I thought I got bypassed and was getting something better than the others but I was wrong.

I’m not sure why Daddy is so safety conscious with us in our cars unless it has to do with him getting stranded once on a back road when it was about 11 at night with a flat tire, no spare and no flashlight either.  Then he hears about his friends daughter getting killed in the mountains and I guess he’ll be worried sick about us when we are out for sure.  I must admit that his fear has gotten us some pretty cool gadgets too.

Yeah I was bored and was just surfing the net and came across an article called ‘Automotive Oddballs’.  Talk about some ugly cars now they had some back then.  They had a picture of a car called a ‘Pacer’.  It was made by AMC.  I’ve never heard of that brand of car.  They must have gone out of business and also the people that made the ‘Yugo’.  I’ve never heard of them either.  They must not have been very good cars because luckily for us, they don’t make them anymore!!!!

Now I wonder what’s up with my Daddy.  He came in yesterday with a surprise for me.  Yeah, surprise I’m going to be able to track you from now on with the new GPS tracking device he got to install in your car.  Say what???  And this is so you can track my every move huh???  I don’t think so.  I’m old enough to go where I please when I please (as long as my parents let me while I’m still living under their roof) and should not be put on a short leash.

Okay after I calmed down, Daddy told me that a buddy of his just called him and told him about his daughter going to the mountains for the day with her boyfriend last week.  They didn’t make it home because it was raining and they ran down the side of a mountain.  They didn’t find the car for 5 days.  If there had been one in their car, they would have found them much earlier.  That’s why Daddy got that GPS for me, so he could find me if I was lost.  I love my Daddy.
